Ireland coach: Klopp not injured from national team.
Ireland head coach Stephen Kenny has hit back at Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp. That Premier League giants Kevin Kelleher is not injure. Playing for the national team allegedly.
The Reds boss said in an interview with the media that he believes the reserve goalkeeper injured in pre-season was because of his stay with the Ireland national team. As a result, referred to unable to help the team during the first month of the season.
However, Kenny has responded to Jurgen Klopp on the matter, insisting in the media that
“Our medical team is famous and has involve in over 200 matches with the national team. They have a medical record. A quick note about every injury. And we didn’t have a record of Quinvin’s condition when he was camping at that time.”
“They wrote down everything and there were no injuries. Which is interesting. Quinn might be doing something that we don’t know. He trained with Liverpool. When he return to the team in pre-season and was injured at the time.
“We don’t have any problems. We have great respect for Liverpool already, I’m sure this shouldn’t be a problem and we’ve all been through it.”
